I’m a lifelong dancer and movement guide rooted in
Richmond, Virginia, and the broader Central Virginia community.
I believe kids deserve
screen-free, pressure-free time to
move, laugh, and imagine. Think of me as a cross between
your favorite children’s show host and a dance teacher:

Equity in Action
I believe dance should be accessible to everyone, whether in private lessons or groups. My rates reflect the value of the time, training, and care I bring to each session. That first lesson (or group session) is always set at the base rate. Afterward, I like to check in with families about what feels sustainable. Families with greater financial flexibility sometimes choose to contribute above the base rate, which helps me offer lessons to students and groups who otherwise couldn’t participate.
In this way, every family helps keep dance rooted in equity, kindness, and community care.

Lessons are booked by the session or on a recurring basis
Life happens! Lessons can always be rescheduled if I’m given more than 24 hours’ notice. If a lesson is cancelled inside the 24-hour window, a $20 fee will be charged so I can keep things running smoothly
Payments are due at each session. You’re welcome to pay by cash, check, or Venmo at the time of the lesson
I don’t have a studio and that’s kind of the magic! I bring the adventure straight to your home. I show up with music, imagination, and a little joyful chaos. The fun lives inside US, not inside the building.
Each space is unique, and with that come certain limitations. Some styles or movements can’t be safely executed in smaller or less open areas, and flooring can also influence what’s possible. Lessons are always adapted to the space available to keep dancers safe. Please provide a clear, open area for dancing, and note that parents/guardians must remain on site during lessons.
